Product Manager

As a Product Manager within the Ocean Contracts Product team at Transported by Maersk, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing a best-in-class Ocean Contract product portfolio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide direction and support and directly contributing to the integrator vision of the organization.

About the role:

As Product Manager you’ll be working closely with customers to understand their needs/ pain points and what new product features/ solutions/ processes might look like. Managing the current market in Ocean Contract product involves enhancing its profitability, reliability and quality to create a best in class offering that customers love and delivers best returns for our assets

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Insights: Collect and derive customer insights through qualitative and quantitative methods to ensure our products meet their needs and pain points.
• Customer Centricity: Build customer centricity across the organization and foster a culture of experimental data and insight-based learnings.
• Value Propositions: Create value propositions that are desirable for customers, viable for our business, and feasible to deliver.
• Collaboration: Work closely with platform, engineering, and functional teams to discover and develop product features and roadmaps.
• Product Viability: Be accountable for the viability and executability of product features.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Own the go-to-market strategy and roll out of products, features, and improvements.
• Financial Performance: Manage and improve the financial performance of the product.
• Product Lifecycle: Mature and grow products at the right time in the product lifecycle and sunset products and features as needed

• Product definition in the product catalog

What You’ll Need:

• Strong business acumen and understanding of the ocean shipping industry
• Solid product management skills
• Ability to translate customer needs into products or solutions
• Ability to work across multiple teams to discover, develop, and deliver product solutions
• Comfort in facing customers and understanding the root cause of product inputs
• Structured business case development and value realization
• Basic data analysis BI skills and product process optimization expertise are a plus
