Senior Business Solution Consultant

We are now looking for a Senior Business Solution Consultant to join our team in Volue who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. In this area, we deliver a comprehensive suite of decision support tools for power production planning, optimization and trading to energy companies in more than 20 countries.

In this role, you will enable energy companies to use their resources most efficiently by utilizing Volue software solutions. In order to achieve this, you will be working together with other Volue consultants and customers worldwide on our software delivery projects.

Senior Business Solution Consultant role involves frequent and close customer and internal contact (Sales, Product Management, Development, Support) regarding software solutions.

Therefore, we are looking for communicators and explorers, who know their way around technology and energy.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Understanding what our customers’ needs, challenges and requirements are.
• Configuring our software according to the customer's needs
• Assessing clients' current processes, systems, and workflows and setting up the customer’s business processes in our tools
• Facilitating integration with the customers’ other IT solutions
• Attending customer meetings and workshops
• Supporting Project Managers and Product Managers on the necessary
• Contributing to closing sales cases by estimating new projects, running demos, giving input to solution design

What you need to succeed:

• Min. 3+ years of experience within energy sector
• Knowledge about European power markets
• Experience with software implementation and project management
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Experience with facilitating workshops tailored to customer needs
• Proactivity and ability to manage own workload and work in the team
• In addition, it would be valuable if you have experience with leading teams, but it is not a must.
