Senior Content Designer

We’re looking for an experienced and empathetic Content Designer to join our Global Product Design & Research team. You will be involved in the design of all aspects of our customer experience, working closely with strategic partners in technology and product teams to bring our key initiatives to life.

What’s the opportunity

As a Content Designer at OLX Group, you’ll use empathy, logic, and data to inform writing and design choices. You’ll drive guidelines, create content design frameworks, co-design solutions with your Product Design and Research peers, influence product vision, and join cross-functional projects. You'll work alongside product designers, researchers, and product managers to create a top-notch experience for our users.

What you will be doing

• Partner closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, Researchers, and Engineers to understand user and product needs, designing content that is simple and easy to understand.
• Offer a content strategy perspective throughout the product development process, and influence strategic decisions to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency across different markets.
• Identify and drive methods to scale content design at OLX through content guides and workshops.
• Develop scalable content design guidelines, establishing our best practices and standards, and helping evolve our writing style guide.
• Approach all of your work with a global mindset, advocate for designs and messages that localize well, and work with our localization team to improve overall content, copy, and UX quality across locations.

What skills and experience you need

• Proven experience writing product copy for web/mobile products and developing style guides.
• Native-level written and verbal English communication skills, detail-oriented, and a global mindset. Fluency in Polish or Romanian is also necessary.
• Ability to clearly explain the rationale behind your ideas and solutions with conviction.
• Ability to go beyond just copy and visually communicate your recommendations.
• Proven experience and ability in all different process stages from problem-solving definition to development and implementation.
• Goal and data-driven mindset. Ability to understand and discuss product strategy, metrics, and results.
• You are a self-starter and don’t wait for tasks to be handed to you. You’re eager to grow and help people around you grow together. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a diligent, autonomous, can-do attitude. You have strong stakeholder management skills.
