What this job involves

To assist Data Center Facility Manager to plan, coordinate and monitor the operations of daily/routine building services, repair and maintenance of E&M (electrical and mechanical) facilities system and equipment in data center on behalf of client. To head up a team of Technical, Operations and Building Management staff in providing the management and operations; monitoring the contractors' performance to be in good quality and efficient services to the clients.

• To schedule and issue work order (WO) for maintenance to technicians and subcontractors
• To initiate & update changes to the Corrigo database
• To check on site maintenance carried out by subcontractors to ensure work quality and method for complying industrial requirement, KPI and SLA
• To conduct record & analysis for the building services under routine maintenance by the subcontractors to ensure attainment of the standard & requirement
• To organize/attend site inspection/discussion with the client and Customers to sort out the services maintenance and associated issues if necessary
• To issue updated WO record for indicating work performance and progress done by technicians & subcontractors under required time completion period
• To check the work progress & record to ensure compliance of KPI and SLA from the maintenance aspect
• To assist Data Center Facility Manager to carryout conditions surveys on properties and plan & monitor CAPEX works
• To manage integrated system test, statutory electrical system maintenance and electrical system load test

Required

• Degree holder in building services / electrical engineering / mechanical engineering or equivalent professional qualification in engineering field
• At least 5 years post-qualification working experience with proven job experience in managing maintenance, operation or fit-out projects for building services(Electrical system, UPS, Genset, HVAC, Chiller or Fire Services). Experience of engineering system troubleshooting. Previous exposure to Data Centres, Banking or premium client service would be an advantage
• Well versed in statutory requirements of building services and electrical systems and facilities management
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making and people management skills
• Spoken English, Cantonese and written in English and Chinese
• Ability to think laterally and deliver innovative solutions
• Able to work independently and take full responsibilities for all technical matters
