Civil Structural Engineer

What will you be doing?

As a Civil Structural Engineer_,_ you will join Bristol team to support our activities within the Energy sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Design and analyse anchorages and supports for various civil structures within nuclear facilities, including reactor buildings, containment structures, and auxiliary buildings.
• Conduct structural assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation detailing design specifications, calculations, and recommendations.

Who are we looking for?

• Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on structural analysis and design within the nuclear sector. Experience with anchorages and supports for critical structures is highly desirable.
• Candidates with prior experience with nuclear safety protocols and regulations is preferred.

Requirements

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations specific to the energy sector.
• Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
