Position Overview

The Senior Account Manager is tasked with leading and managing a number of SXSW Sydney Commercial Partners; this individual is required to successfully deliver a Partner’s commercial sponsorship benefits, end-to end management of a sponsorship campaign, and serving as the primary contact at SXSW Sydney.

The role will require excellent communication and project management skills, with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure Partner satisfaction across a number of SXSW Sydney workstreams, which include brand & marketing, ticketing, activations & events, programming and hospitality & networking. This role reports to the Partnerships, Operations and Strategy Lead.

Please note this is a contract role finishing up on the 22nd of November.

About the Role

  • Serve as the primary contact for Partners; ensuring the delivery of sponsor benefits, whilst advocating for Partner’s internally and being a champion for best practice sponsorship delivery.

  • Lead conversations with internal departments to facilitate fulfillment of assets across a variety of workstreams: brand & marketing, ticketing, activations & events, programming and hospitality & networking.

  • Oversight on all activity related to assigned Commercial Partners, which may involve building solutions and processes, content management, strategic and administration work to support the delivery of Partner sponsorship campaigns.

  • Assist with project management, administrative tasks and content management as needed.

About You

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage a variety of competing priorities and tasked, whilst ensuring effective delivery.

  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfortability utilizing a variety of project management and content management.

  • Previous experience working in a Major Events, Festival or Agency preferred.
