Associate Hardware Engineer

As an Associate Hardware Engineer a typical day might include the following:

• Analyzes, designs and develops basic analog and digital circuits under the direction of an experienced engineer. Conducts hardware design reviews to demonstrate product and circuit robustness.
• Assists in the development of hardware specifications.
• Writes test plans, executes tests, and documents test results for use at peer design reviews and for project notebooks.
• Develops knowledge of SEL engineering processes.
• Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

This job might be for you if:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge in at least 2 of the following areas:
  -- Analog circuit design
  -- Digital circuit design with microprocessors
  -- Power supply design
• Knowledge of one or more of the following areas:
  -- Industrial controls, Digital and mixed-signal electronics design, 3-phase and electric power systems, Electric utility telecommunications.
• Basic understanding of project management processes and procedures

Pay Range Data:

We anticipate filling this position as an Associate Hardware Engineer - $65,000 - $95,000 per year. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. The salary range may differ in other locations based on cost of labor. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
