We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to spearhead our Restaurant Loyalty & Engagement initiatives. An MVP of this product is already live in a few markets, and we are excited to build and scale this further.
In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end product experience, catering to the unique needs of SMB and more sophisticated enterprise restaurants in the region. This will require you to understand problems & opportunities for front-line store staff, restaurant managers and customers.
You will collaborate closely with different platform tech teams, including our report and ads/promo teams to deliver the best experience for restaurants and consumers. Additionally, you will work closely with strategists and country leads to drive sales enablement and develop go-to-market (GTM) plans for the launch of this new service across Southeast Asia.
Your twin objective would be to find product-market fit for the Loyalty & Engagement product and build capabilities that also benefit our online deliveries vertical.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
- Shape the overall product vision and oversee the development of the Loyalty & Engagement product roadmap.
- Gather requirements and conduct user research to ensure the team is focused on delivering high-impact projects.
- Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and understand their needs and challenges.
- Oversee product launches, product marketing, and other go-to-market activities.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure well-understood and well-supported teamwork.
- Prioritize problem-solving to ensure product improvements address the right needs and deliver value for all parties involved: restaurants, consumers, and Grab.
- Creatively and rigorously define and communicate product requirements and specifications.
- Define and analyze metrics to understand what works and what doesn't.
- Communicate key performance metrics and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Manage multiple streams of work and collaborate with go-to-market teams to continuously deliver value.
Requirements
The Must-Haves:
- 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on business facing digital products or services.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products.
- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian market, preferably in the dine out space
- Experience working in restaurant Tech, CRM or Loyalty is a plus
- Strong presentation skills - Ability to distill insights & articulate an actionable point of view to non-expert audiences; Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders; Good command of storytelling and presentation techniques (e.g. slide making, data visualisation).
- Problem solving & can do attitude - Willing to learn quickly and understand the root cause of problems; able to work with a multidisciplinary team to propose creative solutions.
- Demonstrated success in delivering compelling 0-1 products.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset and experience using data-driven insights to inform product decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
