Our client is a Singaporean-headquartered company that supplies directly from the source. They have a unique platform that enables the purchase of ship supplies directly from manufacturers, industrial wholesalers and resellers. It allows direct purchase of the best brands of valves, filters, electric components and consumables from pre-priced catalogues.

As an IT Business Support, you will help create the world’s most successful maritime marketplace with revenue for $1B+ and transform ship supply within the next 5 years via value chain disruption enabled by data mastery, process automation, and better buyer experience and intelligence.

The IT Business Support is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

• User Account Administration – access, account creation, and modification in all areas except on Product Engineering platforms.

• System Administration & Support – End-users device updates, Server updates, applications updates, Intune, Office365, Azure, Active Directory, DNS, GPO, and Cloud Backups.

• Document Control – Maintain IT Documents related to Assets, licenses etc.

• System Health Monitoring – all client systems except product engineering infrastructure.

• Network Administration – Fortinet VPN, local network support.

• Security Administration – securing company resources (both hardware & software) such as Office365, Windows Servers, Internet Security products (e.g., N-Able), and other applications.

• Assets Administration – Purchase of software & hardware, preparation of PCs and workplaces.

• End-User Support – Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, IT onboarding and offboarding activities, IT procurement.

• Knowledge Base - Build and maintain guides such as but not limited to Business Continuity Plan, Disaster Recovery, and the like.

• Mobile Device Management

• Continuously seek ways to automate and improve infrastructure for business applications.

• Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s policies.

• Perform any other related duties as requested by the Reporting Line Manager.

Requirements

• Educated to a minimum standard equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree level in IT

• 3 years of experience within IT Business Support

• Ability to speak, read and write English

• Experienced Microsoft Office application user i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Experienced in operating systems for PCs, MacBooks, iPhone and Android

• Preferably with experience in Active Directory, Azure, and N-Able

Physical Demands / Work Conditions:

• On-site setup (Full onsite for the first 3 months then a hybrid set up – 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home)

• Must be amenable to shifting schedules

Advantageous skills:

• With ITIL or Microsoft Certification
