Category Leadership Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the Albertsons CA NAM, the California Region team & local buyers to support AVP and Safeway Nor Cal with category & data support, schematic validation, assortment opportunities, regional programming, pricing and display/planner priorities and execution & sales and analytic support. This position will be responsible for managing WH inventory and buy opportunities for both divisions, assisting with monthly projections, execution communication and tracking, along with competitive market analysis. This candidate will also play an essential role in optimizing effectiveness and efficiency of our route to market and execution standards.

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Sales Information and Process Management.
• Lead contact for reporting and analysis across all available internal and external data systems.
• Lead contact for category reporting and analysis for AVP and Safeway Nor Cal buying teams, distributor partners and CBI internal teams.
• Responsible for assisting and supporting ABSCO CA NAM with organizing wine dinners, demo’s, winemaker events, JBP’s, T2T’s, & Business updates.
