Senior Mechanical Estimator

Turner & Townsend has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to manage estimates and cost consulting on large, high value data center construction projects for a key client. Data Center construction estimating experience is strongly preferred for this role.

To be successful in this position you must have great communication skills and be comfortable operating in a client-facing role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert estimating services for hyperscale data centers from RFP through to construction completion, managing key relationships with the client, general contractor, and project team.
• Ability to estimate at conceptual, programming and detailed level.
• Assist on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
• Perform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, produce bid list, bid analysis, produce bid report, and compile contractual documents.
• Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable refer major changes to line manager.
