Regulatory Adviser

Please note this is a 12 month Fixed Term contract for parental leave cover.

An Overview of our Team and the role:

Regulatory Governance is an enterprise function which coordinates responses to regulatory data and qualitative requests across TAL. The team liaises directly with regulators, Group Life partners and teams across TAL to coordinate and ensure timely delivery of TAL’s responses to legislative and regulatory changes.

In this role, you will be coordinating TAL regulatory responses and liaising with regulators and Group Life partners where required. You will be working with the Legal, Risk, and business teams on ASIC and APRA investigations. You will also be working with the Legal and Risk teams on proposed changes in legislation and regulation and working with business and data teams to implement changes.

Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinating TAL’s responses to regulatory requests and ensuring that responses are produced in the appropriate timeframe and in accordance with established governance processes.
• Working with Legal, Risk and TAL business units to develop and continually refine procedures in respect of regulatory responses.
