Director, Local Government Affairs

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead local government affairs team to implement Organon China’s business strategy through multiple access initiatives and achieve access targets in a matrix environment.
• Take lead in key market access activities, e.g., VBP tendering and price negotiation, PVBP management, NRDL implementation, Retail reimbursement, etc.
• Build up long term relationship and network with provincial authorities and stakeholders.
• Enhance Organon’s profile and reputation among key local government stakeholders through effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Responsible for government affairs at provincial government level, incl. government key stakeholder engagement in Shanghai, where OGN headquarters in
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, business team, central GA team, pricing, regulatory, etc.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Major of Medical, Pharmacy and equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years’ working experience in policy, market access, public administration and/or corporate affairs in pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong relationship with key external stakeholders, e.g., SH Government, Expo Bureau
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Demonstrates an ability to lead by example, upholding Organon’s core values and behaviors.
