About the role

We are seeking an experienced and sales driven Personal Cruise Consultant to join our Melbourne based Consumer Sales Team. You will be part of a high-performance team generating revenue by closing cruise sales from past and new guests using leads through Crystal’s custom-built systems. We are searching for sales professionals who are confident, driven, resilient, and looking for a new challenge in the luxury travel industry.

This full-time role is an outbound sales position, where you are proactively making phone calls to new enquiries and past guests, from warm leads to generate sales.

This position comes with the opportunity to enjoy uncapped earnings when commission targets are met.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Sell Crystal’s voyages and related products and services using outbound consumer contacts by telephone, across Asia Pacific.
  • Utilize technical selling skills and product knowledge across all areas to maximize opportunities to close sales.
  • Maintain a high volume, sales-focused workload, delivering daily minimum productivity dial and talk-time targets to generate sales.
  • Assess and identify the travel needs of our guests and present Crustal Cruises’ array of products and services including ships, destinations, itineraries, air and land options as well as business policies for guests.
  • Provide a seamless customer service experience, from the initial sales call to confirming the reservation/booking.
  • Build and maintain accurate records of guest profiles and itinerary information using Crystal’s custom-built CRM and Reservations systems.
  • Ensure booking details are complete and accurate in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Assist guests with a high level of attention for post-booking services.
  • Meet and/or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years sales and luxury customer service experience is required.
  • Experience with outbound telephone sales and luxury consumer products is highly essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English including professional telephone etiquette, is essential.
  • Candidates fluent in English and Asian languages are encouraged to apply
  • A strong, well-developed and technical sales process.
  • The ability to manage guest matters and overcome objections.
  • Strong resilience and drive to maintain required workload productivity.
  • Ability to quickly learn and maintain current knowledge of Crystal Cruises’ products and services.
  • Possess a strong drive and high energy to reach and exceed specified sales goals.
  • Ability to work well and maintain professional composure while under stress and pressure.
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Strong customer service skills to create a positive guest experience.
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage priorities
  • High level of attention to detail within administrative processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, CRM software, and experience with travel reservations systems is a plus.

Other Information:

  • Expected hours of work are Monday to Friday with Saturday availability (when required)
  • Flexibility to work on a rotational shift basis if required, including weekends and holidays.
