As a Health & Safety Specialist, what are you going to do?

• Implement, monitor, promote and report quality indicators, coordinating preventive and corrective measures to be taken when necessary;

• Promote continuous improvement of the quality management system;

• Develop and participate in the quality audits and manage the quality system, ensuring the application of corrective actions and improvement opportunities, verifying the effectiveness of the results;

• Participate in occupational and environmental risks assessment and prevention;

• Contribute to the implementation of prevention and protection measures;

• Organize the necessary documentation related to the prevention and protection development on the organization;

• Participate on the writing of the EHS Documents;

• Control the subcontractor’s compliance with EHS standard;

• Promote EHS awareness throughout all organization;

• Collaborate in workers consultation and improve processes development;

• Take part on the internal emergency plan preparation;

• Prepare accident or occupational disease participations;

• Implement operational control and make sure that all EHS rules are properly displayed and respected;

• Control the subcontractor’s compliance with EHS standard;

• Prepare the periodic inspection EHS reports;

• Comply and assure compliance with the rules of security policies and procedures of security information management system;

• Create information security strategies, both short-term and long-range;

• Develop and monitor risk assessment program for all assets;

• Review the adequacy and appropriateness of its Business Continuity strategy;

• Develop and participate in the security information audits and manage the quality system, ensuring the application of corrective actions and improvement opportunities, and verifying the effectiveness of the results;

• Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Health, Safety & Environment and report any non-conformity detected in these areas;

• Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Quality Management System and other Management Systems that the company may adopt;

• Ensure the confidentiality of the information available within the scope of the activity, as contractually defined;

• Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Health, Safety & Environment and report any non-conformity detected in these areas;

• Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Quality, Information Security, Environmental and Health & Safety Management System and other Management Systems that the company may adopt;

• Implement operational control and make sure that all EHS rules are properly displayed and respected;

• Contribute to the correct separation of waste and its placement in the respective containers, according to the typology of each waste.

• 2 to 3 years of similar professional experiences;
• General Knowledge about the ISO 14001:2015 (purpose and concepts; importance of environment management system; understand legal requirements; tools for implementation; Operation Controls; monitoring);
