George Higginson is currently searching for a highly experienced Senior Biostatistician for an up-and-coming CRO, specialising in Oncology.

This Senior Biostatistician will engaging in a wide range of interesting and challenging tasks including directing assigned projects and providing statistical support for clinical trials. This includes generating randomization schedules, participating in protocol and SAP development, preparing and reviewing programming specifications used in creating derived datasets, tables, listings, and figures, and reviewing case report forms (CRFs), and database structures.

They’re interested in bringing in top-tier Statisticians that have a desire to progress within their career. With this role being based on-site x3 days p/w in Cambridge, Massachusetts, you get the opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced professionals in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the lead biostatistician for simple to complex clinical studies.
  • Develops statistical analysis plans and reporting specifications for simple to complex clinical studies.
  • Performs statistical analyses and interprets results from simple to complex clinical studies.
  • Provides input to Protocol Risk Evaluation & Planning (PREP).
  • Performs lead review of TFLs, tabulation datasets, and derived datasets.
  • Reviews simple to complex randomization specifications and dummy randomization schemes.
  • Trains and mentors new or junior statisticians on statistical methods and PRA procedures
  • Participates in bid defense meetings.
  • May provide significant input in the development and review of CRFs and edit specifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field & 5 years of relevant experience required; at least 3 years experience in clinical data management in a clinical research setting also required.
  • Excellent statistical and communication skills.
  • The ability to contribute your statistical expertise to the design, analysis and reporting of global clinical studies
  • The ability to plan, supervise, implement, and monitor the statistical processes for your complex clinical trials.
  • Ability to successfully interact with your sponsors when leading your complex projects.
