Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs will oversee talent acquisition, ensuring a steady pipeline of top candidates, and will collaborate with department heads on hiring needs. They will manage employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, and HR policy implementation. Additionally, they will drive performance management and development programs. The role includes designing employee engagement initiatives, conducting feedback sessions, and promoting a positive work environment. They also develop and implement Corporate Social Responsibility strategies, coordinate outreach programs, and ensure CSR efforts enhance the company’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

>Talent Acquisition

Overseeing the recruitment process to attract and hire top talent. Developing strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of candidates. Collaborating with department heads to understand hiring needs and align recruitment efforts with business goals.

>Human Resources

Managing employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with labor laws.Implementing HR policies and procedures. Overseeing performance management, training, and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

>Engagement

Designing and executing employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention. Conducting surveys and feedback sessions to understand employee needs and improve workplace culture. Promoting a positive work environment through recognition programs and team-building activities.

>Corporate Social Responsibility

Developing and implementing CSR strategies that align with the company's values and goals. Coordinating community outreach programs, sustainability efforts, and philanthropic activities. Ensuring the company's CSR initiatives positively impact society and enhance the company's reputation.

Requirements

Skills / Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in HR management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition and recruitment strategy development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong experience in employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent skills in performance management, training, and employee development.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute employee engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in conducting surveys, feedback sessions, and improving workplace culture.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing CSR strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with department heads and senior management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
