Senior Android Developer

For our partner - a leader in the audio entertainment industry with 150+ million users, we are looking for a Senior Android Developer.

We have an established team at AscentCore working on next-gen features for the infotainment sector of our partner’s business, connecting users to numerous features that make driving a more pleasurable experience through the awesome content shared by the company: music, news and podcast streaming, among others.

This role is open in locations where we'd like to expand our local communities: Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Android-based solutions using common standards and frameworks
• Deliver products to market by working closely with customers, engineering, design, and program management teams in an Agile environment.
• Analyse and/or contribute to software architecture and documentation.
• Perform code reviews.

Requirements

• Native Android development experience of 5+ years
• Proficient with Android Java and related Android development tools/technologies
• Android Automotive OS is a big plus
• Understanding of object-oriented design (OOD) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with MVVM design patterns.
• Knowledge of VAST/VPAID standards is a plus.
• Experience with streaming technologies is a plusInterpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
