The Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the talent engine fueling a high growth organization that is radically changing the biotech industry. The Associate Director, Human Resources Business Partner, will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships in support of our Research and Development functions, while driving the efficient and effective delivery of key Human Resources projects and objectives. The individual possesses a track record of successfully partnering with managers and leaders to build capability and maintain effective teams. The primary purpose of this role is to partner with the lead HRBPs across the R&D functions - ensuring we deliver against the business and people growth objectives of the company while promoting a high-performance culture.

The Associate Director, HRBP will work collaboratively with the Human Resources team and other subject matter experts to solution and align practices and initiatives with the Company’s strategic and operational goals.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct counsel to managers and leaders in the areas of talent management, development, coaching and leadership, and performance management
  • Provide support to multiple R&D functions, working cross-functionally and assisting staff at many levels in optimizing the performance of their teams and resolving issues
  • Contribute to creating solutions in such areas of organizational models, talent and career development, talent acquisition, and compensation
  • Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers regarding HR practices, HRIS systems, employee relations, development etc.
  • Support VP, HRBP and HRBP leads on key projects and initiatives as well as day-to-day tasks

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in organizational development, talent management and employee and leadership development

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Prior experience working in the technology, biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Experience working on functional or enterprise-wide initiatives in a fast growth environment, including skill in partnering with other members of the HR team
  • Ability to form strong partnerships and trust with employees regardless of level
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).
  • A natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate and conduct your work
