Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

  • Responsible for enhancing ISD operations and delivery by managing the ITSM ticketing module and troubleshooting complex problems to isolate specific areas.
  • Leading the development of new tool strategies to support ISD operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Collaborating with service management, infrastructure, and application teams to identify areas for improvement and plan corresponding initiatives.

What are you accountable for?

  • Ensure all production infrastructure environments are being monitored.
  • Manage and align IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) initiatives:

a. Integrate or automate ITSM/ITOM tools to enhance productivity and simplicity.

b. Develop a roadmap to consolidate Maxis ISD tools strategy.

c. Identify new tool strategies or enhancements to improve overall Information Systems Division (ISD) efficiency.

  • Support application and infrastructure teams in simplifying processes and deploying new services.
  • Manage end-to-end support with third-party vendors as part of second-level support.
  • Work closely with internal ISD business operations to identify key applications for service improvement.
  • Explore new technologies to drive tool automation and self-healing/remediation.
  • Conduct assessments and feasibility studies for customer experience monitoring on new development releases.
  • Manage Opex and drive cost improvements.
  • Integrate tools with third-party services and solutions.
  • Monitor key applications to drive service enhancements.
  • Work with customer support to enhance workflow processes and user satisfaction in CSC or retail shop environments.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions.

What do you need to have for the role?

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience with BMC Suite of Products (e.g., BMC Helix Suite, BHOM, Discovery), with technical expertise in diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • ITIL V4 Foundation or equivalent, BMC Certified Associate, AWS Certified or Equivalent.
  • Any additional professional developer certifications would be advantageous.
