Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at Owlstone, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and databases to support our growing data needs. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our data processing systems and ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our data infrastructure that supports research and development of non-invasive breath biomarkers. You will support clinical trials work with major pharmaceutical companies and world-renowned research institutions that are developing applications for our Breath Biopsy platform across a wide range of medical applications.

Collaboration will be at the heart of your role, working alongside cross-functional teams including product development engineers, analytical scientists, data scientists and biostatisticians and business stakeholders. You will be working at all layers of our technology stack and must be comfortable working independently in a fast-changing environment and with malleable systems.
