About the role

We are seeking a Content & Communications Lead who is a talented wordsmith with a natural ability to develop compelling copy that embodies DA’s brand values and digital voice. You will lead content efforts to boost web traffic, enhance brand awareness, and drive sales through effective marketing communications.

The ideal candidate will excel in creative crafting, guiding key messaging across various channels. You will create shareable content, optimise existing and develop new material, distribute it on the right platforms, and measure and report on performance.

You’ll also seek out new trends in UX and digital communication to incorporate best practices effectively. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally with all other business units.

This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Content Strategy & Planning
  • Plan, own, and manage content marketing initiatives while co-owning social media calendars to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategy.

  • Build and manage a content calendar, facilitating ongoing content planning, creation, and reporting on the results of each content marketing initiative.

  • Design and implement creative marketing strategies to disseminate content across marketing channels, ensuring consistent messaging.

  • Work with cross-functional teams in the development and communication of the content strategy. Influence others and oversee the alignment of strategy, best practices, and processes.

  1. Content Creation and Management:
  • Develop marketing and sales enablement assets, including email campaigns, ad creatives, infographics, brochures, and leaflets, in collaboration with the Creative team.

  • Create and build effective, automated email templates and communications across key channels.

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality articles, graphics, white papers, blogs, email marketing messages, case studies, videos, presentation content, and more.

  • Support website content updates and the production of new webpages to ensure an engaging and user-friendly online presence.

  • Craft clear, concise microcopy and interface text for products and web experiences, ensuring a seamless user journey.

  1. Social Media and Community Engagement:
  • Oversee LinkedIn account management, including content planning, posting, and engagement strategies to maximise reach and influence.

  • Identify strategic opportunities across patient communities and media-driven initiatives, implementing effective social media and community marketing strategies.

  • Support, secure, and coordinate media and speaking engagements.

  1. Analytics, Performance, and Quality Assurance:
  • Analyze data and develop strategies for content creation, optimising digital and social channels to increase engagement, influence sales, and build brand awareness.

  • Utilise analytics and performance metrics to continuously improve content effectiveness and engagement.

  • Define metrics, KPIs, and goals to measure the success and impact of our efforts across channels, creating reports leveraging tools such as MoEngage and social media analytics.

  • Establish and uphold quality standards across all communication channels, including customer marketing initiatives, social media campaigns, and content marketing efforts.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges to build a more effective editorial calendar.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in copywriting and content creation

  • Experience across both B2B and B2C marketing

  • Working knowledge of digital copywriting, editing and proofreading for social media, SEO-optimized web content and product-related content

  • Self-starter, with impeccable problem-solving and follow-through capabilities.

  • Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow.

  • A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude, pragmatic, and able to work independently when required.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity - we're a fast-growing business and there's always unchartered territories, which is part of the fun.
