Salesforce Developer

Role Purpose

The role of the Salesforce Developer involves overseeing all code-based solutions within Salesforce, including tasks related to data migrations, systems integrations, and 3rd party applications. The individual will collaborate closely with the Salesforce administrator and Business Analyst to craft solutions aligning with business requirements and contributing to critical business decisions.

Key responsibilities

· Take on the responsibility of developing customized solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other relevant technologies. Demonstrate technical leadership by establishing best practices in integration, application development, deployment, and testing, both unit and systems, with a focus on iterative refinement.

· Actively explore opportunities to leverage Salesforce for process improvement and increased productivity, providing recommendations to support the organization's rapid scalability.

· Define, communicate, and oversee a change management process for the development and implementation of new applications/code, as well as updates to existing ones.

· Serve as the initial point of escalation for daily service issues, collaborating with the Lead and acting as a primary contact for stakeholders.

· Prepare and review test scripts, ensuring comprehensive unit testing of changes. Develop Apex Test classes with a minimum coverage of 90%, validating all functionalities and bulk operations.

· Lead the implementation of Sales & Service Cloud, troubleshoot implementation issues, and collaborate with various teams, backend systems, and diverse monitoring/analytical tools.

· Demonstrate experience in data migration and deployment activities.

Individual Profile

• 5+ years Salesforce Development Experience with Apex, LWC, Lightning, Integration (REST/SOAP) with Salesforce Platform Developer/App Builder certifications

• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.

• Familiar with Salesforce Lightning Design System and SFDX.

• Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end users.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.

• Experience using Copado or other version control software.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and design patterns

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and designs

• Experience working with Visual Force pages, Lightning, Apex programming.
