LiquidX Studio is a high-conviction, high-touch venture studio focused on building application layer companies within web3.

Pixelmon is one of the largest market-cap NFT collections in the gaming category. We are building out the first truly decentralised IP, first with games but moving to animation and other distribution channels. Innovative tokenomics, including fractionalised IP ownership and royalty sharing models.

We are based in Singapore and Malaysia with many of our team collaborating remotely from countries like New Zealand, Spain, Indonesia, and Brazil. With large backing from our recently raised funding round, we aim to create a unique experience with immersive gameplay and extensive lore that will wow all gamers.

About The Role

As a UX Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design direction across multiple Web3 product lines. You will lead a team of 1-2 designers, fostering a positive environment to deliver high-quality designs. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers, software engineers, and marketing teams, to build the Web3 application layer that powers our ecosystem.

What You Will Do

• Lead 1-2 product designers through collaboration, feedback, and direction.
• Address design problems from start to finish: translating product insights into features, then designing workflows and interactions.
• Integrate needs from Product, Engineering, and Marketing into comprehensive design deliverables.
• Present and communicate design direction, decisions, and rationale to other teams.
• Collaborate with product managers to establish timelines, delivery, and priorities.
• Support product development with wireframes, user flows, journey maps, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and evaluative research.

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• 6+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or related fields.
• BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field .
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.
• Portfolio or case studies demonstrating design process, shipped work, and impact for digital products and services across web and mobile (required for consideration)
• Experience leading a design team.
• Experience working on cross-functional product teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality products at scale.
• Strong core product design skills: visual design, prototyping, and interaction design.
• Excellent knowledge of mobile and front-end web standards and development.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and advocate for design decisions.
