Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

The Precision Module and Equipment Lab focuses on Precision Automation for state-of-the-Art Products in the field of telecommunication area. The lab aims at developing fundamental and core technologies needed for the automation of precision components for assembly, testing and measurement. Senior/Principal Engineer - Hardware Engineering Technical Insight (m/f/d)

**Your mission

  • Gain Insights into the development trends of the ICT and consumer electronics industries (Hardware engineering). Collect and analyze industry information, and output technical insight reports.
  • Analyze industry benchmark companies, top resources, and startups in the German-speaking area, understand their core elements of technological leadership, and establish connections with them, then build a local resource map.
  • Actively participate in local conferences, exhibitions, and workshops, identify experts and professors or teams behind Top resource, build a local talent map.
  • Cooperate with the team in HQ (China) and support them to find the best resource in Germany.

**Your areas of expertise

  • Master methodologies and tools related to technology insight or strategic planning and strong experience in ICT or consumer electronics industry research is preferred.
  • Have strong information collection ability, systematic thinking ability, learning ability, communication and expression ability and good team spirit;
  • Have good report writing, expression and presentation skills, and be able to independently organize technical workshops;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German. Chinese is preferred.
