Position summary:
The Taiwan ETF Product Specialist will be responsible for promoting exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to institutional and retail sales channels within AllianceBernstein. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with clients, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote ETFs to institutional and retail clients in Taiwan
  • Work closely with business development team to produce ETF content/messaging
  • Work closely with AB Taiwan institutional and retail sales team as ETF product specialist to build client base, attend client meetings and events
  • Be an ETF business intelligence resource for sales team
  • Act as ETF subject matter expert for sales team in areas of product structure, industry trends, competitors, and product methodology
  • Provide training, visits, and seminars to serve securities companies to enhance the product awareness and promotion of our ETFs
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop marketing materials
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry developments to provide clients with relevant information and insights
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay informed on industry developments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
  • Possess SITE/SICE relevant license.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of ETFs and the financial markets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze opportunities/issues and to recommend business solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is required

Skills:

Familiar with SITE/SICE regulations and asset management industry general compliance
Familiar with investment market and products
Deep understanding of sales strategy and extensive experience of promoting through brokerage relationships
Ability to synthesize and analyze data for sales enablement and reporting
Entrepreneurial- willing to help build the AB ETF business
Strong interpersonal skills for relationship management
Existing relationships in finance industry
