Finance Business Partner

• Must have 10-15 years of regional/APAC experience, including 4+ years in a big 4 audit firm and 5+ years in general accounting and FP&A in a complex, multi-country global organization. Tech industry preferred.
• Experience managing internal and outsourced teams.
• Expertise in US GAAP and SOX and have worked with global senior stakeholders.

This newly created role in Singapore requires a strategic business partner and finance expert to establish a robust controls environment and a quality-driven culture. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant regulatory, tax, financial, and management reporting and analysis for Asia Pacific countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close, overseeing accounts payable, general ledger, P&L, balance sheet, accruals, and flux analysis in Asia Pacific countries.
• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages per US GAAP and Local GAAP.
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance across APJ.
• Manage internal audits, SOX compliance, risk mitigation, external audits, and treasury.
• Support business units to identify cost drivers and achieve P&L targets.
• Conduct flux analysis on actuals vs. budgets and provide financial insights.
• Develop financial dashboards for stakeholders.
• Oversee revenue accounting, billing, and revenue operations.
• Manage outsourced accounting, tax, and regulatory services.
• Advise on policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior management, finance teams, and stakeholders in Asia Pacific and globally.
• Implement accounting policies, standards, processes, internal controls, and corporate projects.
• Drive process improvements to streamline, standardize, scale, and automate.
• Be the Subject Matter expert to mentor team.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent (CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA).
• 10-15 years of experience, including 4+ years in a big 4 audit firm and 5+ years in general accounting and FP&A in a complex, multi-country global organization.
• Experience managing internal and outsourced teams.
• Strong understanding of accounting outcomes and treatments.
• Expertise in US GAAP and Local GAAP.
• Proficiency in tax compliance and familiarity with local tax laws and regulations in Asia Pacific countries.
• Strong business acumen and FP&A experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
