Global Forwarding Team Lead

**Job Summary

The Global Forwarding Team Lead is responsible for performing transportation planning activities as assigned and takes the lead in managing all global forwarding and transportation-related activities. Reporting to the Sr. Global Forwarding Manager, this position acts as the primary liaison with transportation vendors as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive further transportation efficiencies within the organization.

**Job Expectations:

• Collaborate with outbound vendors, air freight forwarders, airport transfer trucking partners, and internal management teams to review and gain consensus on forecasted demand.
• Monitor on-time performance, delivery effectiveness, and transportation optimization trends to minimize transportation-related costs.
• Oversee transportation capacity and contingencies for seasonality, new project implementations, FC expansions and etc.
• Support the leadership team in forming and maintaining strong partnerships with Airline carriers, air freight forwarders, and other transportation vendors.
