Senior Clerk

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Senior Clerk to join our clients team in Cape Town. As a leading recruitment agency, we specialize in finding the best candidates for various industries and positions. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Taxation Calculation, completion and submission of EMP201, EMP501 and VAT201
• Completion and submission of income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
• Completion, submission and follow-up of objections (SARS)
• Attend SARS meetings as company representative.
• Attended to SARS queries on all of the above
• Managing a team

Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Taxation
• Fluent on SARS EFiling and Easyfile
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Sage & Xero advantageous
• Knowledgeable of South African VAT & Tax laws.
• 1 Year post articles
• Experience in Draftworx/Caseware (advantageous)
