Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for safely handling products in our Kelowna warehouse. The regular duties of this role include receiving and storing products, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing daily housekeeping activities while contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.

This is a Contract position with the possibility of extension

Wage: $22.10 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (40 hours per week)

Compensation:

•Starting at $22.10/hour

•Experienced Candidates: $23.20 per hour

* You must bring 3 years of Clamp/Oversize handling experience

What you will be doing:

• Processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
• Receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials
• Maintaining accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
• Operation of warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations
• Maintaining warehouse safety and cleanliness.

What you bring:

• Current or previous Forklift certification.
• Stand-up/Sit-down counterbalance MHE experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50LBS
• Good oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills

• Basic mechanical skills.
• Experienced use of clamp attachments.
• Experience with RF scanning hardware.

• Warehouse Associates and Supervisors
• Delivery Associates and Supervisors
• Retail customers at time of pick up

Work Environment

• Working in a climate-controlled warehouse

• Comfortable working with large items.

• Must be able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time

• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling of boxes throughout the warehouse can be expected
