Golang Engineer

RYZ Labs is seeking a Golang Engineer to join one of our client’s teams working in the healthcare industry. They are creating a new reality by pioneering immersive therapeutics (ITx) to treat intractable health conditions affecting millions worldwide.

In this position, you will report to the VP of Engineering and work closely with the Product team and other cross-functional stakeholders. The initial focus of the Software Engineer will be the development and ongoing maintenance of our client’s communication service system.

Basic Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in software development.

- Demonstrated fluency in Golang and AWS.

- Experience working in a cloud-based environment.

- Experience working cross-functionally with a variety of internal stakeholders.

- Proficient in Agile development methodologies.

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to troubleshoot and be solution-oriented.

- Ability to work autonomously and embrace new initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with compliance regulations in the healthcare industry, such as HIPAA or FDA regulations, is beneficial.

- Experience in the healthcare or medical device sector is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, build, and maintain applications using Golang and AWS technologies, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Integrate AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc., into software solutions to enhance overall functionality and security.

- Work closely with the Product Management team to define product visions and roadmaps.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions and gather requirements to deliver high-quality products that adhere to regulatory standards specific to the healthcare and medical device industries.

- Ensure alignment of software development efforts with strategic goals, business needs, and user expectations.

- Identify and solve design and technology issues within current AVR systems.

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product and product roadmap to make commitments on future features and updates.

- Contribute to technical team strategy and roadmap.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and innovations within software development and our industry
