Main responsibilities

The Senior Client Manager oversees client interactions and delivery processes, ensuring high-quality service and addressing any issues promptly. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, lead meetings, and identify opportunities for service improvement and expansion. Additionally, they provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, while also managing financial aspects and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and targets.

1. Client interaction and delivery tasks

  • Manager review of returns, ensuring quality to the client
  • Liaise with clients, KPMG offices, and internal teams
  • Attending/preparing also leading governance meetings/calls, kick-off meetings
  • Onboarding of new registrations/takovers
  • Ensuring a quality delivery to the client
  • Escalate client or delivery issues
  • Identify opportunities to expand KGSH services for clients

2. People management and organizational tasks

  • Collaborate effectively with delivery and other teams
  • Mentor Junior Client Managers

3. Engagement management tasks

  • Act as an engagement manager, overseeing financial aspects such as invoicing and WIP updates
  • Monitor financial performance of client engagements and ensure compliance with internal risk management procedures
  • Set and meet financial targets for client engagements

Requirements

  • In-depth Knowledge: We value individuals who understand the nuances of VAT intricacies and have at least 7-8 years of hands-on experience across multiple jurisdictions
  • Client Management Skills: As a Client Manager or in a similar client-facing role, you should have a proven track record of fostering strong relationships and enhancing the compliance process for clients
  • Leadership Experience: While not mandatory, any leadership experience, whether as a country leader or project leader, will be a significant advantage
  • Solution-Oriented Mindset: Are you someone who thrives on finding solutions? We're looking for individuals who approach challenges with creativity and a focus on delivering results
  • Exceptional Communication: Effective communication is key in our fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with robust analytical abilities, are essential
