We are seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee our Developer Tools Enablement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing staff, running managed services, and coordinating with sourcing partners. The main focus of this role is to drive the adoption and optimization of developer tools, including Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Docker Desktop, and various other development tools, in line with our tech strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers focused on developer tools enablement.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our managed service for developer tools.
- Collaborate with a sourcing partner to ensure effective tool and service delivery.
- Drive the implementation and integration of developer tools.
- Develop and maintain best practices for tool usage, ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability.
- Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance their workflows.
