I.OVERVIEW

TGI is a fast-paced and dynamic company looking for a passionate Lead Copywriter to join our growing marketing team. You will work in a collaborative environment with talented individuals who are all dedicated to creating high-quality content. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills, who can guide a team of writers and ensure consistency, accuracy, and effectiveness in all content produced.

II.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Content Development and Strategy

•Develop and maintain editorial calendars across all marketing channels, ensuring alignment with brand and marketing goals.

•Craft compelling written and visual content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.

•Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and aligns with the company’s tone and style.

•Manage content distribution across relevant channels, including social media and email marketing.

•Monitor content performance and effectiveness across relevant channels and optimize content as needed.

2.Quality Assurance

•Ensure high quality content, maintaining standards for accuracy and consistency.

•Act as the first point of escalation for content quality and capacity concerns and implement preventive actions.

•Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy, style, and tone.

•Ensure content conforms to project specifications and department guidelines.

•Address and correct errors in content, ensuring final products are consistent and error-free.

3.Team Leadership

•Train, mentor, and oversee the content team, including newly hired writers.

•Maintain team metrics on quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

•Provide guidance and feedback to ensure high standards of content quality.

•Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors, coordinators, and team members regarding the status of work.

•Report problems and provide solutions in a timely manner.

4.Stakeholder Management

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

•Engage key stakeholders in the editorial process and ensure their feedback is incorporated effectively.

5.Operational Excellence

•Identify initiatives to improve and streamline content development processes.

•Implement and operationalize plans to ensure consistent execution across the global content team.

•Collaborate with other departments to support TGI and its affiliates and ensure cohesive content strategies.

•Adhere to deadlines for all assignments.

•Actively participate in all job and personal knowledge training programs.

•Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Marketing or immediate Supervisor.

III.QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Creative Writing, or a related field.

•8-10 years of experience in writing and content development, including planning and strategizing content, collaborating with designers and videographers, and managing content calendars.

•Proven track record of successfully leading content teams.

•Experience with digital and multimedia content, optimizing stories for search (SEO), and familiarity with analytics.

•Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

•Strong judgment and ability to shape a story by asking smart questions and challenging premises.

•Excellent communication and project management skills.

•Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms.
