As a Product Data Manager for Brakes, you are responsible for managing and optimizing product data to address portfolio gaps and opportunities. You will leverage data governance processes and time-to-market stage-gate processes, as well as growth, maintenance, and life-cycle management of assigned product data. You will do so through the following activities:
- Proactively manage a product data for brakes components through the entire product lifecycle process
- Analyze product data looking for improvement potential, exploring/identifying new market requirements and opportunities through user experience and market research to build product content
- Benchmark competitors improving and optimizing content for e-commerce
- Create product application specific content highlighting major product differentials
- Scrap online platforms collecting customer feedback based on reviews building data bases to support decisions
- Responsible to implement Catalog changes based on ACES & PIES format
- Work cross functionally with Product Managers, Trade Marketing and Catalog team
Requirements
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND:
- Bachelors in Marketing, related business and/or technical degree required
- 3-5 years of experience in a product content creation and revision; data handling and reports creation
- Understanding of ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard) / PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard) and experience with PIM (Product Information Management).
- Advanced data management proficiency using Excel, Access or SQL
- Capability to create reports using PowerBI, Tableau or Alteryx
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Python, RPA tools like UiPath, Power Automate) for streamlining data processes and improving efficiency.
- Practical / hands-on experience with and interest in automotive market is a plus
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Proficient oral and written communication in English
