This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our projects across the region.

Position Overview: The full-time Junior HR responsible provide essential HR support to our Madrid office, focusing on recruitment, employee engagement, and HR administration. This role is ideal for an HR professional early in their career, eager to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a creative and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Madrid leadership team and other team members to ensure smooth HR operations and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and employee records.
  1. HR Administration:
  • Manage employee documentation, including contracts, amendments, and personal files.
  • Support payroll administration by preparing and submitting necessary information to the finance team.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the business operations team across the company to ensure processes are actioned
  1. Employee Engagement & Communication:
  • Promoting the Hyphen Values
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Support internal communication efforts, including the dissemination of company updates and HR-related information.
  1. Training & Development:
  • Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities for employees.
  • Monitoring training engagement metrics through our own platforms.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and programs.
  1. Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics as required, including employee attendance, turnover, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensuring staff reviews are completed and recorded
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Support the resolution of employee issues and concerns, escalating to management as needed.
  • Promote a culture of open communication and mutual respect within the office.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in HR or a related field is preferred. Experience in a creative or design-focused industry is a plus.
  • Language: The ability to speak and write in Spanish and English
  • Skills:
    • Strong organisational, attention to detailand administrative qualities.
    • Excellent communication and time management.
    • Basic knowledge of HR practices and local labor laws.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR software.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
