Key Responsibilities:
· Focus Area: Create and review drawings and designs to ascertain compliance with customer specifications, and organizational guidelines to ensure product is workable and manufacturable

· Focus Area: High level of competency in creation of 3D models and corresponding drawing package, BOM, and structured part numbers

· Focus Area: Review and investigate design alternatives and ensure all factors are considered to meet customer specifications, new products and revisions

· Focus Area: Examine and inspect products at various stages of manufacture to maintain quality and reliability, especially with first articles

· Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
· Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
· High levels of competence and relevant training with appropriate CAD CAM packages
· Understanding of design and manufacturing processes and procedures. Experience of heavy engineering and associated machining and fabrication. .
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project & PowerPoint. Prior use of 3D and 2D CAD packages (Siemens NX, Solid Works, AutoCAD). Prior use of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), or Enterprise Resource Planning (EPR) software.
