Senior Payroll Analyst

The Sr. Payroll Analyst is responsible for accurate processing and recording of gategroup's payroll, providing timely and accurate information, while liaising with employees and internal and external stakeholders. This position supports the weekly or semi-monthly payroll processing activities and provides assistance to the other areas in the group during peak times or absences.

• Ensure payroll processing audit, issue research and resolution is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with the implementation, improvements, or changes of procedures and/or systems to increase efficiency and improve the existing payroll processes.
• Responsible for payroll reporting and analytics.
• Provide training and resources regarding payroll processes.
• Provide payroll support as needed (e.g., processing bi-weekly multi-state payroll, quarterly and annual bonus payments, audits, garnishments, etc.)
• Assist with year-end operational close including reconciliation, distribution of W2’s and tax filing compliance.

UltiPro
o Processes Semi-monthly payroll, vacation relief for Weekly Payroll.
o Responsible for pension reporting and auditing.
o Runs standard reports for each payroll and save on shared Payroll drive.
o Maintains support for each payroll processed and save in the appropriate shared folder.
o Processes daily payroll changes received via the Payroll Ticketing System.
o Processes manual checks as needed.
o The Analyst responsible for salaried payroll will also assist with the following:
o Downloads payroll Journal Entries (JE) and send to accounting for SAP posting.
o Generates Quarterly and Annual tax files and send to Ceridian.
o Assists the Senior Payroll Manager with GL mapping issues related to JE entries.
o Assists the Senior Payroll Manager with bank reconciliation issues.
o Assists the Senior Payroll Manager with tax notices.

ADP and Citibank
o Creates weekly or semi-monthly payroll tax files for each payroll and transmit to Citibank as needed as a vacation relief person.
o Generates ADP Checks and Direct Deposit files and submit to ADP .
o Resolves ADP Checks and DD issues.
o Assists with ADP payroll delivery issues.
o Assists with annual W-2 preparation and filings.
o Assists with payroll audits, as needed.
