Role Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Cross Core Software Engineering Team. Cross Core is the one-stop-shop platform for fraud and identity services for our customers. It delivers a future-proof way to modify strategies quickly, catch fraud faster, improve compliance, and enhance the customer experience. The platform supports a best-in-class approach to managing a portfolio of services that work together in any combination — including Experian solutions, third-party services and client systems — to deliver the level of confidence needed.
What you will be doing:
- Research & Develop high-quality software for the SaaS projects
- Produce high quality clean, testable and efficient code
- Work closely with Product Owner and Architects to fully capture functional requirements and dependencies
- Share knowledge and inspire teammates to improve their technical skills
- Drive and foster engineering excellence
- Perform code reviews and ensure new code is following established coding practices
- Write automation tests as part of development process
Requirements
What you'll bring
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong knowledge of OOP principles, data structures, algorithms & design patterns
- Strong knowledge of Java 11+
- Knowledge and experience with good software development practices (Clean Code, Refactoring, etc.)
- Knowledge of collections, concurrency, generics, error handling and persistence frameworks
- Experience with Rest API, Spring, Spring-MVC, Spring-Security frameworks
- Experience with microservice architectures
- Fluency in English
The following skills will be considered as an advantages:
- Experience with performance and stress testing java applications
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker and AWS
- Experience with any of Angular 6+, React, Vue.JS and TypeScript
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with automation frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber)
- Experience with monitoring & reporting tools (Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)
