We are seeking a passionate Generative Artificial Intelligence – IT Product Owner to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will be a part of a brand-new product team building up capabilities in Automation & AI and delivering solutions to all of Ascendis Pharma.

Your role will be to deliver IT Products that enables our company to optimize their work processes through the application of generative AI and low code solutions. You will work closely with devoted colleagues within the organization, who all share the overall goal of developing and bringing new innovative medicines to patients.

In collaboration with the IT colleagues, you will use your agile and industry experience to articulate what success looks like for a given product and rally the product team to turn that vision into reality.

You will be joining the Ascendis Pharma Global IT, Continuous Delivery organization, consisting of product teams delivering to business value streams.

You will report to People Leader, Lene Rhein Larsen, who is based in Hellerup, Denmark. You will be based in the Hellerup office as well.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Build relations with business areas and IT stakeholders to understand optimization needs and opportunities.
• Define product roadmap, backlog and technology strategy working with IT, business leadership and stakeholders for the product team.
• Together with the product team - drive delivery model, governance, and policy development for Automation & AI
• Provide priorities from stakeholders to the product team ensuring value is delivered throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Work with QA, data privacy, security, and compliance teams to ensure solutions are compliant and secure, adhering to processes/procedures in place.
• Develop and manage business relationships with software partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure value realization on our investments.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or something similar – and +5 years of experience from a position as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Application Manager, Project Manager or similar role.

We are looking for a senior profile on Senior Manager level.

Furthermore, you have:

• Experience from biotech, the pharmaceutical company, a consultancy or in a regulated industry is preferred.
• Experience with generative AI on one or more of the following platforms: Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Azure Open AI or other non-Microsoft platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
