The Software Engineer will lead the Sealytics product line software solutions for HMH. In this role, you will drive the resolution of network and technical support concerns while assisting in the on-time delivery of requisition projects and software upgrades.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop Automation tools to manage Code Development and help improve the quality of the code.
  • Manage Developments and QA Server
  • Administer Databases Locally and in the Data Cloud.
  • Define API's, Provide Interfaces and Tools for Data Consolidation and Visualization for Wide Suite of Asset Management, Process Management and Documentation Teams to be able to Consolidate Information in the Common Data Cloud.
  • Adapt and Drive Agile Process for Requirements, Design, Development and Test Software.
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
  • Facilitate testing programs in the lab
  • Load, update, and maintain hardware configuration and setup
  • Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures and prepare handover packages for the product teams.
  • Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
  • Provide DevOPs support for continuous maintenance and improvement scope
  • Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH's HSSE governing policy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Science discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable engineering experience
  • Ability to develop Mobile and Web Applications
  • Expertise in developing / using the following applications:
    • Code – Java, C++, Java Script, HTML5, Python
    • Mobile Frameworks – iOS, React Native or similar
    • Database - MySQL, PostGres, NoSQL
    • Framework – Spring, Hibernate, Angular, JBOss/Wildfly
    • Cloud Services – AWS/Azure
    • DevOps Tools – GiT, Maven, Build tools, Automated Testing Tools, Continuous Integration Tools, Agile tools.
  • Experience in Cyber Security frameworks
  • Basic Networking Skills with the ability to configure Firewalls
  • Drivers and Applications in Run Time and Remote Access
  • Ability to Build UI, Reports, Data Models, Abstract Physical Data Model to Connect / Migrate Legacy System Data with Commercial Data Base / Cloud Systems.
  • Understanding of Frameworks for Developing High Performance SCADA/ Drilling/ Big Data Mining/ RM&D UI Applications.

  • Ability to sell the Architecture to Stake Holders

  • Cyber security framework knowledge
