Our Client runs a family office with approximately $450 million in trading capital. Their team currently consists of five employees, and they are looking to expand to 15 within the next year. Our client is seeking a highly capable Chief of Staff to provide the necessary support to their trading division, ensuring smooth operations and execution of strategic initiatives.

Position Overview: The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic partner to the Founder of the family office and manage various operational tasks. This role requires a highly intelligent, resourceful, and self-motivated individual who can effectively manage multiple priorities and streamline processes within the division with little oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the trading division, ensuring efficient workflow and execution of tasks.
  • Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees in the trading division.
  • Handle administrative functions such as auditing accounts, interfacing with brokers, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement processes for monitoring and improving operational efficiency.
  • Assist in strategic planning and execution of key initiatives, including the expansion of the computer-assisted trading division.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication across the team.
  • Provide support in managing external relationships with brokers and other financial institutions.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance productivity and effectiveness within the division.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills, with the ability to get things done efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and trading is beneficial.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Compensation:

  • Base salary ~$200k
  • Performance-based bonus.
