Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for the company's entrance control products. This includes creating detailed designs, conducting analysis and simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance and manufacturability.

Responsibilities:

• Create 3D CAD models and detailed drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Perform analysis and simulations to validate designs and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality engineers to ensure product requirements are met.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during the product development process.
• Work closely with suppliers to source components and materials, ensuring they meet quality and cost requirements.
• Support the manufacturing team by resolving design-related issues and providing technical documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and design best practices.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks.
• Experience with FEA analysis and simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of entrance control systems or related products is a plus.
