We are looking for a Workstream Lead for Master Data Management and Analytics for a permanent position in Sanoma starting preferably in August 2024.

This position can be based in any of the Sanoma countries: Finland, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Germany and Spain.

About the role

In this role you will be leading the development and execution of Sanomaโ€™s master data management (MDM) strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and the Stellar implementation plan. This role involves leading a cross-functional team and subject matter experts to maintain consistency, quality, and governance of master data across the organization.

Main responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT, business units, and external consultants to identify data needs, define data standards, and establish clear data ownership and governance model.
  • Ensure MDM integration/alignment with other enterprise applications and business processes.
  • Manage data cleansing, transformation, and migration activities to prepare for the ERP transition.
  • Monitor system performance post-implementation, resolving any MDM-related issues and optimizing processes.
  • Train and support the MDM roles across the organization on MDM principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data management strategies.

Requirements and preferred skills for the position

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in master data management
  • Proven expertise in data architecture, data quality, data governance, and data integration.
  • Experience with project management and able to drive change.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of the business processes (finance/logistics/procurement) managed in the stream
  • Knowledge of the IT -solution, -functionalities, components planned to support the processes.
  • Experience with the integration tools used by the solution vendor.
  • Proven experience in project management or a related role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality deliverables.
