We are proud of our friendly work culture and we continually aim to create an optimal employee experience that embraces a healthy work life balance.The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be part of our Business Development team and will participate actively in the creation of technical and financial proposals towards our prospect clients, ensuring compliance with the client’s requirements, while highlighting Linakis.digital’s value proposition.
The BDE will be actively involved in materializing the strategic positioning of the company in international markets: He/she will participate in analyzing the preferred market sectors and in creating new leads to ensure the smooth inflow of sales opportunities.
He/she will work very closely with the rest of our Business Development team, representing the technical and commercial aspects of how the proposed solution solves a specific client’s problems. As BDE, he/she will have a close relationship with the prospective client during the presales phase and will perform presentations of the services and products offered, being the owner of the demonstration script for the proposed solution.

Lead Generation

  • Analyze the preferred market sectors and create new leads to ensure the smooth inflow of sales opportunities.
  • Communicate with prospect clients and aim at booking meetings for presentation of the company to the correct audience.
  • Work actively towards building a healthy pipeline and meeting particular sales goals set by the company.
  • Identify upsell opportunities in active sales cases and share them with his/her colleagues.

Formation of Technical and Financial Proposal

  • Communicate effectively with the rest of the Business Development team, to deal with all the technical and commercial issues that arise from the new RFP.
  • Communicate with the customer to clarify technical and business requirements of the assigned presales cases.
  • Convey customer requirements to the team, as well as team questions to the customer, until all requirements are clear.
  • Combine requirements with the company’s offerings to architect the finest solution for the case, ensuring complete compliance with the customers’ requirements.
  • Actively participating in drafting technical proposals with the support of the rest of the team and the technical presales engineer.
  • Create commercial documents, as a response to functional, technical business and financial elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Produce Bill of Materials including all equipment and professional services required for project completion and participate actively in the creation of financial proposals.
  • Communicate with external partners and suppliers to find the best possible solution for the prospect customer.
  • Define high-level time plans for the technical implementation of the project.
  • Manage multiple independent cases, delivering results within the allocated time.

Communication and Negotiations

  • Communicate with the prospect client during all phases of the presales process.
  • Negotiate with the prospect customer.
  • Prepare presentations and deliver demonstrations to board level executives, senior management, technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in client’s site visits to present the proposed offering to prospect clients and interact with them to elicit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science. An MBA will be considered an asset.

  • At least eight (8) years of previous working experience in similar position.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (Greek and English), with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internally and externally. Excellent customer-facing communication skills.

  • Presentation and product demonstration experience.

  • Understanding of the technical and business benefits (and possible shortcomings) of the proposed solution.

  • Experience in responding to RFIs/RFPs and Tender documents in the global market.

  • Knowledge of Web and Mobile systems and technologies, including Content Management Systems, Web Services, Databases, Networking and Security will be considered a strong plus.

  • Understanding of SaaS and cloud-based solutions.

  • Experience in Business Development with enterprise customers in web and mobile technologies.

  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project)
