Manufacturing Engineer
Description -
What a Manufacturing Engineer does at HP:
- Lead and own product engineering of Graphics Falcon/G5i Printhead technology.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Falcon Printhead in meeting the desired performance levels to deliver the expected customer experience.
- Drive continuous improvement to the reliability tests and factory testing gates to enhance detection capability of quality issues and optimize the cost of quality where appropriate.
- Collaborating with various functional groups such as process, system interaction and customer assurance; the product engineer is responsible for performing evaluation of product/process changes, resolve quality issues, drive containment of affected parts during a quality escalation.
- Lead and collaborate with NPDI team to enable NPI programs and influence the design for mass manufacturing, work with R&D to transfer Engineering Responsibility to the manufacturing.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent or at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
