About the opportunity

The Senior Frontend Developer leads the development of critical software components and applications. They drive architectural design, implement advanced testing methodologies and execute software deployments. They also ensure comprehensive technical documentation for software projects.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • lead the development of critical frontend components and applications
  • collaborate with software developers, business analysts and business team in an agile setting to plan, design, develop, test, and sustain client solutions
  • engage actively in daily standups, sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and broader technical discussions to improve team collaboration
  • design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with client requirements
  • drive the architectural design of complex systems, optimizing for performance and reliability
  • engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders facilitating discussion to address concerns and gather feedback, ensuring alignment with work area goals
  • participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code, ensuring standards compliance and advocating for best practices in software development

About you

  • experience and understanding of frontend technologies like TypeScript, JavaScript, Svelte, React, CSS3, HTML 5
  • experience in configuration management tools and associated source code version management and review systems, Git, Bitbucket etc.
  • demonstrated experience in software testing to write highly reliable code, scenario testing design and live launch monitoring
  • experience with CI/CD and an understanding of container technology such as Docker
  • proficiency in creating responsive, cross-browser compatible code
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to apply theoretical knowledge and techniques to meet key accountabilities
  • proven experience management multiple project workstreams, demonstrating an ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands
