Neurology Ecosystem Manager

The NEM is responsible for the management & development of the Neurology ecosystem in the country. This role will serve as the primary connection between priority customers and all relevant cross-functional teams with the objective of advancing the timely diagnosis and treatment of Neurological diseases.

This role requires strong cross-functional leadership and communication, particularly with medical and external stakeholders and partners. Candidates should have a passion to help people with neurological diseases and their loved ones, be able to quickly connect with customers, and effectively manage KOL relationships.

Primary responsibilities:

Market understanding, mapping and design

  • Design the ecosystem in the field of Neurological disease (focus on key accounts, their diagnostic environment, and the referring network around them).
  • Understand and map out Neurological patient flow and therapy pathways at the country and account level from the time of initial diagnosis to initiation on treatment through assessment and infusion dynamics.
  • Understand and map out the Neurological diagnostic ecosystem at the regional and account level and identify opportunities and gaps (e.g. stakeholders’ diagnosis & therapy, capabilities and capacity for CSF, PET and MRI, referral networks incl. hospitals, office-based specialists and primary care physicians).

Stakeholder and partnership management

  • Foster relevant partnerships and networks with key customers/stakeholders.
  • Understand the key pain points for each stakeholder, identify customer needs and bring customer insights to help build corresponding valued strategy and solutions.
  • Partner with cross functional team and /or work closely with customers to design value-added programs and roll them out in the Key Account Management organization.
  • Identify and engage, as appropriate, with relevant, new partnerships that can support the accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of Neurological diseases.

Account understanding and planning.

  • Responsible for leading, coordinating and executing the account understanding process with the cross-functional account team for the Neurological diseases & portfolio, consisting of colleagues with direct customers, Medical, and all relevant inside functions, including senior management.
  • Scheduling, preparation, and execution of account reviews with management and regional senior management stakeholders.
  • Analysis and evaluation of all account relevant data and derivation of strategic conclusions and action instructions.
  • Ensure execution of planned actions in the Account Plan through effective leadership without authority to issue directives.
  • Understand the current/future capacity and constraints for infusion delivery and other diagnostic tools - PET tracers, and PET and MRI testing.
  • Lead and execute advisory boards to gain KOL feedback and better understand opportunities to support patient diagnosis and care approaches.
  • Support and implement the Future Brand Strategy at the local level.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Specialization or MBA (desirable)
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • At least 3 years of marketing/access and commercial experience
  • Demonstrated ability for effective account management and understanding of healthcare market and healthcare policy and their impact on customers.
  • Strategic mindset to analyze customer needs and derive conclusions.
  • Experience of KOL management and relationships in complex structures that influence treatment pathway decisions.
  • Experience leading cross functional team and/or effective collaboration with external partners.
  • Strong passion and commitment toward Neurological diseases
  • Inquiring and integrity mindset
  • Perseverance & outstandingly positive work attitude, open to change and enjoys new challenges.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Strong business acumen and results orientated with a high degree of initiative.
  • Knowledge & experience of neuroscience and/or radiopharmaceuticals
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and successfully implement complex projects through coordination processes with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of new product launch
