Senior Analyst - Debt Capital Markets

• Supporting day-to-day work of the DCM team from project origination to execution and closing;
• Preparing transaction documentation and prospectuses/private placement memorandums;
• Preparing presentation materials, including pitch books, investor road-show presentations, transaction case studies, and credit rating presentations;
• Interacting and coordinating with client management and other internal and external parties (e.g., senior investment bankers, regulators, lawyers, corporate bankers, rating agencies, fixed income sales force, accountants, compliance, other investment banks, etc.)
• Growing understanding of how the firm's full range of DCM products and services can add value in different situations.

Key functions:

• Analyzing and processing financial information received from clients;
• Drafting deal materials, preparing presentations, and building financial models;
• Coordinating the workflow with clients, other analysts, senior bankers, and other relevant parties;
• Assessing the issuer’s capital structure and its ability to support bond payments;
• Participating in mentorship and development of junior analysts.

Candidates must have a strong interest in investment banking and debt/equity capital markets underpinned by solid quantitative and analytical skills. The candidate should be able to think creatively about a range of strategic issues and have an exceptional grasp of valuation, finance, and business strategy. Specific qualifications include

• Minimum of 3 years working experience in reputable commercial and investment bank, advisory, Big 4, and/or private equity firm;
• Experience in originating and executing financial projects from start to finish. Experience in DCM transactions will be a plus;
• High levels of ethics, integrity, and judgment;
• Ability to comfortably interact with senior clients in a professional setting;
• Strong credit analysis and presentation skills;
• Strong intellectual curiosity;
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with the capacity to work independently and in small teams;
• Very strong command of English;
• BBA degree. CFA will be a significant advantage
