The Senior Analyst, Remediation & Projects is responsible for ensuring the requirements of the business are correctly interpreted, documented and validated and for building key analysis tools to support program activity. Additionally, build analytical models, analyse and validate data to support key remediation activities covering a number of payroll and superannuation compliance and regulatory matters. They are responsible for ensuring that risks and issues are identified, and solutions designed and documented to remediate and mitigate these risks. In addition, you will be responsible for deriving insights from analysis, carrying out user acceptance testing (UAT), analysing both data and processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

The successful candidate will manage multiple complex projects, require attention to detail and an analytical mindset and have the ability to work under pressure and against tight time frames. The role reports to the Manager Employment Compliance and Projects and undertakes multiple projects covering several payroll and superannuation compliance and regulatory matters.

You’ll have:

  • Demonstrated experience (5-7 years) in a similar role
  • Business related degree or relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong payroll functional and technical experience
  • A high level of autonomy, accountability and ownership
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to deal with ambiguity, complexity and confidential information
  • Superior time management and organisational skills with the ability to work across multiple complex tasks concurrently
